These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of ChatPulse (“the bot”, “we”, “us”), including adding it to a Discord server and using its commands. By doing either, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use ChatPulse.
1. Discord’s rules come first
ChatPulse runs on Discord, so you must also follow Discord’s own rules at all times. Breaking them while using ChatPulse also breaks these Terms.
- Discord Terms of Service
- Discord Community Guidelines
- Discord Privacy Policy
- Discord Developer Terms of Service
- Discord Developer Policy
ChatPulse is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord.
2. Who can use ChatPulse
You must meet Discord’s minimum age requirement in your country. Only add ChatPulse to servers where you have permission to manage the server or add apps.
3. Rules for using the bot
When using ChatPulse, you agree not to:
- Spam or abuse commands, for example by repeatedly running
/revive-chator regenerating prompts to flood a channel. - Automate it with self-bots, scripts or other bots that trigger its commands.
- Exploit it: look for or use bugs, try to crash or overload it, bypass rate limits, or access data you shouldn’t.
- Reverse engineer, copy or resell the bot or the service behind it.
- Use it to harm others, including harassment, hate speech, or anything that breaks Discord’s Community Guidelines.
- Impersonate ChatPulse, its team, or claim to be an official ChatPulse server.
If you find a bug or security issue, please report it privately in the support server instead of using it.
4. Server administrators
Server staff who set up ChatPulse are responsible for choosing a suitable channel and language and for moderating the conversations that follow in their server. ChatPulse’s prompts are meant to be light and friendly, but you can always regenerate a prompt or remove the bot if it isn’t a good fit.
5. Content
Conversation starters are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate, repetitive or not to your taste. If a prompt is inappropriate, please report it in the support server. Messages that members post in reply belong to them, and we are not responsible for them.
6. Availability
ChatPulse is free and provided “as is” and “as available”. We aim to keep it online, but we don’t guarantee uptime, and we may change, pause or discontinue features or the whole service at any time.
7. Enforcement
If these Terms are broken, we may limit, block or remove ChatPulse’s access for specific users or servers, with or without notice. Serious violations may be reported to Discord. You can stop using ChatPulse at any time by removing it from your server.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, members or activity, resulting from your use of ChatPulse.
9. Privacy
How we handle data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use ChatPulse after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
